I decided to try something new in my life. I followed the directions on the paint can. Weird. I waited the three days before writing on the chalkboard. It was hard. But I did it. I also “seasoned” the chalk paint with a layer of white chalk. (I rubbed the side of the chalk all over the chalkboard paint.) This helps to prevent your writing from being permanently etched into your paint. Worked like a charm.
Spring cleaning with small children? Sounds like an oxymoron, right? I’ve got two little boys that are 6 and 3 and let me tell you, convincing them to pick up or clean is like pulling teeth (and I’m not talking about those wimpy incisors, we’re pulling molars here!) This year, with the help of a classic game and Bona®, we’re doing spring cleaning a little differently!
Want to learn how to make Dollar tree Spring wreaths for your kitchen cabinets? Good, you came to the right place. I also have an important announcement at the end of this post:) You may recall around the Christmas season I had made some Dollar tree Christmas wreaths and they were so simple and turned out pretty cute. They really dressed up the kitchen without going overboard with decorating. I like to keep it simple in case you haven’t noticed. (hahahaha) I know my husband would be laughing at that statement. So today I took a quick step in the Dollar tree and picked up some supplies to make Spring wreaths for the cabinets.
